Printing 500mm Titanium Rocket Rings

A large-scale 500mm titanium rocket ring has been manufactured using Meltio’s Wire-Laser Metal Additive Manufacturing technology, demonstrating the capability to produce large, high-performance components for demanding aerospace applications.

Using wire-based metal deposition, the manufacturing approach enables complex titanium components to be produced at larger scales while taking advantage of titanium’s high strength-to-weight ratio and performance in extreme operating environments.
